Kawasaki ZZR 1100. Getting close to completing the repairs Yes!

Writer's picture: Kawasaki RiderKawasaki Rider

Fitted the new rear side panels, indicator lights, Front and rear foot peg hangers, Gear lever and linkage, Handlebar, clutch lever, reassembled the top fairing (but not fitted it to the bike yet), secured the L/H silencer (Pain in the backside with a hugger fitted), front forks all torqued up. In the video I said only a couple more items to arrive, in fact there are 3 things. Washers for the replacement oil pipes, the inner cowl, and also the new oil pressure switch, no idea how that was smashed??. Perhaps when the recovery vehicle picked the bike up after the accident as it was impossible to push as the silencers were wrapped under the wheel and they may have put a jack under the bike.
